If, while reading posts in an internet forum, you come across the words, "I feel sorry for you", simply replace those words with, "I know that I'm better than you. You ignorant slut".
I have found that this sentence is always associated with some sort of less-than-civil debate and the one who writes it is, in troll-theory, assuming the moral high ground. But we all know this is just another passive-aggressive insult.
In summary:
I feel sorry for you = You suck, I rock.
If you think about using this insult, think again. If you read this insult in a post, simply decode and respond with a jovial "Blow me".

Hmmm,that's rather cute , High Flow but these words should e told only to your lady , methinks . As for 'being sorry' it is not as you say : we may say truly sorry when we hear about someone explainig they are getting surgery or had an accident or lost someone dear . ONly when i tell Cliff Hucker about 'being sorry for him ,poor thing" i really mean it as a joke , of course but not in a snobbish way .(yet i think it would be ridiculous to feel sorry for some nasty people i won't evenbother to name here )

Look TrumpetHead, I was simply pointing out a very common phrase which is used in web-based mud-slinging. You used it and it reminded me how pathetic it is to say such a thing. You don't really feel sorry for anybody here, do you? I thought not.
Your project sounds interesting and I explored several of the links you posted. I am very sorry I don't have the magic link that will bring your efforts to fruition. Hopefully, if all goes well, the next person who comes around asking this question will find an answer based on your research.
